Steps to set up your User Account to renew your License online
CREATE KENTUCKY.GOV ACCOUNT
- Go to https://secure.kentucky.gov/register
- Complete the registration form
- Choose a Username
- Enter a Password (requirements on the right side)
- Enter Password (again)
- Enter Email
- Select Security question 1
- Enter Security question 1 answer
- Select Security Question 2
- Enter Security question 2 answer
- Answer the “Are you human?” Google Captcha
- Check the box “I’m not a robot”
- Select images as directed
- Enter First Name
- Enter Last Name
SEND YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION TO MVC FOR ACCESS TO ONLINE RENEWAL APPLICATION
- Submit registration by clicking on the Complete registration button
- Once the account has been created, email your online renewal application access request with the following information to amber.francis@ky.gov or Cathy.Fornash@ky.govat the KY Motor Vehicle Commission and send us the following information;
- Dealer name
- Dealer number
- Employee name
- Employee Kentucky.gov Username only (DO NOT send passwords)
- Employee email
- Employee date of birth
- MVC will process your request and notify you when you can access the application with the submitted Kentucky.gov Username(s)
NOTE: You will not be able to access the Online Dealer Renewal Application until we have processed your account with the above information.
